Hello,
May I ask a question. I am thinking about placing straw within my garden.
I thought about putting it between the rows and then around the plants after they come up. May I ask what you think about using straw.
Thanks

expert village doesn’t respond to questions. However, straw is a very good idea, and is actually commonly used. You can also put compacted grass clippings around the plants, as they release nitrogen very fast. However, most people don’t like the idea of using grass clippings, but it does the same thing. Straw and grass clippings is a very cost effective way of going around the mulch. Mulch can be very expensive if you are using a large garden.
